David Dodge

Occupation: Associate professor of Archaeology at Sydney University.

Age: 46.

David is a close friend of professor Anthony Cowles (who went to America for a year and left his Sydney house to David). Due to his ambitious and adventurous nature, he was a member of countless expeditions into the Outback (as some of his critics would say - to the detriment of his academic pursues). Very tall and naturally fit, despite his age, he's still in a remarkable physical shape.

In 1915, David enlisted in Australian military and served as an officer during the Gallipoli campaign in the Great War.

After meeting the investigators, David soon realized that his life was in danger. In rapid succession, he witnessed several unnatural and impossible events: witnessed (and was attacked by) the Deep Ones and their human hybrids, seen rituals take place and participated in them, and saw with his own eyes the great ancient creature Bunyip.
